TREE STAR ASTROLOGY

Astrology is one of our oldest tools for storytelling and timekeeping. From the starwatchers of ancient Mesopotamia to sky traditions carried across continents and generations, we have long looked to the stars for meaning, seasonal rhythm, and guidance. They may be both our oldest calendar and our most enduring mirror.

I first came to astrology with skepticism. I was raised to reject it, and my academic mind poked holes in its 'unscientific' claims. But everything shifted when a friend persistently asked me to look up my birth chart. When I shared a few of my placements, she exclaimed, 'I knew it!'

Curiosity took root. The more I studied astrology, the more it provided me with language for my inner landscape, courage for the thresholds I was crossing, and grace for the deeper patterns shaping my story. Over time, looking to the stars also became a way of holding space for others. Through astrology, I gained a tool offering grace and courage, and a shared language I now use to support others during their seasons of challenge or change.

Tree Star Astrology is akin to soul doula work. This service provides clarity and compassion during the many thresholds we cross between birth and death: identity shifts, grief, spiritual transformations, creative emergence, or the start of a new season, location, or career. Each session creates a space for you to be respectfully witnessed, supported, and empowered.

Tree Star Astrology complements birth doula work. By examining the natal charts of parents, babies, and families, I offer grounded perspectives that illuminate individual needs, patterns, and emotional language. In moments of uncertainty or relational tension, the stars help us chart a way to face conflict with clarity, compassion, and courage.

Whether you're preparing to give birth, navigating postpartum shifts, grieving a loss, or crossing any of life’s many thresholds, I am honored to be a companion, a witness, and a reminder that you don’t have to face these thresholds alone.

How I look to the stars

Astrology is a language with many dialects. As an astrologer, I analyze birth charts using Western tropical astrology, drawing from multiple systems and approaches. My work often intersects with my role as a birth doula, where I support individuals at significant life thresholds, much like how I interpret natal charts to guide personal journeys.

I primarily utilize Whole Sign Houses, the earliest house system in Western astrology, which provides symbolic clarity and intuitive space. Additionally, I incorporate Placidus' nuance and psychological depth. My practice embraces both traditional and modern planetary rulerships, allowing me to view the chart through a wide, grounded, and relational lens.

I don’t believe there is one “right” way to practice astrology. Each system and interpretation offers something meaningful. I’ve rooted myself in the forms that shine the brightest to me personally and in witnessing the transformative journeys of others.
